This paper is aimed at analysis of the palaeoenvironmental conditions and causes for the palaeohydrological changes, and palaeohydrological reconstruction in the Seim River basin since the Late Pleniglacial. The Seim River system drains the western slope of the Mid-Russian Upland into the Desna River, middle Dnepr basin.
