Curtailing water erosion of cultivated land : an example from north Norfolk, eastern England

The use of vegetation for erosion control and environmental protection

Auteurs :
EVANS, R.
OWENS, P.N.

Description :
To understand why erosion became a problem on a farm, and the changes made to combat it, the A. will briefly describe the parcel of land affected by erosion and how land use, field patterns and extent and severity of erosion have changed since the 1930s to the present (2003), and outline the reasons for these changes. The implications of the findings are discussed and some conclusions drawn.
