The paper deals with the polycentrical concepts of regional dvelopment of Slovenia as they were established in three documents of regional planning between 1974 and 2004. Three issues have been discussed more precisely : the purpose of polycenrism, the number of regional centers, the number of hierarchical levels and the mesures for implementation of the concepts. - (IKR)
