The natural fluvial processes are disturbed by human activities - embankment, dams, weirs, etc. The research area is situated in Southern Moravia, in the wide alluvial plain, gently undulated river channel. It is characterized by numerous cut-off meanders and oxbow lakes, Aeolian mounds and number of irrigating canals. A lot of maps and photographs are used since the second Military mapping 1827-1830. - (MS)
