The contribution is dealing with two interrelated groups of problems. The first is evaluation of changes in thematic orientation of Czech human geography. It is characterized by an increased interest in social problems. The second includes key theoretical questions of the discipline whitch have not been solved yet. Three problems are discussed : subject specification of human geography, existence and character of human geographic regularities and limits of their explanations. - (EN)
