This paper mainly shows the stratigraphic characteristics of the tectonic units from the Espuña-Mula area, discussing the meaning of the sedimentary facies and their lateral distribution to provide better palaeogeographic reconstructions as well as geodynamic evolution of the overall Betic-Rif Internal Zone.
