Description :
Moraines southwest of Lake Yashilkul, Tajikistan, were dated using Be 10 exposure ages of boulder surfaces. The AA. establish a glacial chronology for the Yashilkul area. The main focus lies on the timing of the local last glacial maximum and on the comparison with high-resolution temperature and precipitation proxies in order to determine whether the glacial advances can be explained with changes in temperature or precipitation.
