Further paleobotanical data on the Herzeele formation (northern France)

Description :
Further palynological and diatomological data were gathered on the stratotype section of the Middle Pleistocene Herzeele Formation. The pollen record of an important gully infilling indicated that a revision of the chronostratigraphical interpretation might be necessary. A more detailed reconstruction of the paleoenvironmental conditions was based on the diatom content of the deposits.
