Cropped and irrigated lands in Andhra Pradesh, India : a study on their association

An attempt has been made to assess the association between cropped and irrigated area on the basis of product moment correlation coefficient. Andhra Pradesh is primarily an agricultural state where over one third of the net sown area is irrigated. Rayalseema regions are lagging behind irrespect of agricultural production due to inadequate irrigation facilities. - (PLK)
