Description :
An analysis of topography in an storm runoff from Eyachtal leads to the conclusion that slope concavities and hollows are the preferred contributing areas which generate storm flow. Differences in the flow responses of subcatchments are explained by the position of contributing areas relative to the perennial channel within them. On this basis, the relief characteristics critical to flood generation in a drainage basin must be suggested.
