Sediment yield in a mountainous basin under high mediterranean climate. Three years of research and future studies in Erosion budgets and their hydrologic basis.

Description :
The present paper summarizes the main results obtained, with special emphasis on the dynamics of a little badland area which seems to supply roughly 14 kg per square meter and year of silty sediment, with marked differences between summer and the rest of the year. Finally, a summary of forthcoming work is given, which comprises the instrumentation of some little basins with stream, rain and sediment concentration gauges, and some rather inexpensive instruments.
