A temperature characteristic of severe winters i. e. 1978/79 and 1984/85 of observatory Prague-Klementinum, celebrating its 210th anniversary of regular observations, is compared with datas of observatories located in the centre of Prague and on its outskirts. The existence of an island of higher temperature in the centre of the town is visible. - (MS)
