Ground ice models for the distribution and evolution of curvilinear landforms on Mars in Models in geomorphology.
Auteur :ROSSBACHER, L. A.
Description :
Models for the origin of the curvilinear features suggest that their formation probably incorporates several processes, including scarp retreat by backwasting, partially through the sublimation of ice from the substrate which then allows the particles to be removed by gravity and wind.
