The A.A. describe how stratigraphic mapping, sedimentological analyses, and radiocarbon dating of such fluvial sequences can provide new informations on the mechanisms and rates involved in meandering river sedimentation, at time scales of hundreds to thousands of years, and we also infer the effects of environmental pertubations on this river.
