Between the two world wars, Yugoslavia was an undeveloped agrarian country| in the postwar period, its economic development has been a process of industrialization. Here is a brief review of : 1/ development between the two world wars, war destruction and reconstruction (1918-1946), 2/ development in the periods of a/ early post-recovery years (1947-1952), b/ rapid economic growth and intensive structural changes (1953-1965), c/ moderate development (1966-1979), d/ economic slowdown after 1980.
