Determination of the land uplift from old water marks and tide gauge data at Ratan and Lovgrundet/Bjorn, Sweden

Old water marks (the oldest from 1731) are combined with more recent tide gauge data at Ratan and Lovgrundet/Bjorn in Sweden in an analysis of the land uplift. The study shows that the hypothesis of a significant change of the uplift rate at the beginning of this century cannot be verified. Furthermore, the tide gauge data does not support a decrease of the uplift rate.
