Description :
In the second half of the 19th century, terrestrial photogrammetry developed towards a geometric measuring technique. Surveys up to the turn of the century were performed by plane table photogrammetry in which the evaluation is relatively expensive. The first period of development of terrestrial photogrammetry was finished by the introduction of stereophotogrammetry. (HL).
