Description :
A brief description of the frost station at the Centre de Géomorphologie du CNRS in Caen is presented. The installation, the experimental conditions and the progress of the experiment are summarized. The means used to take important measurements and a description of the various types of sensors are detailed. Three domains of investigation are distinguished: the fields of thermic and hydraulic in the soil, along with the menachichal behaviour of the soil and the steel tube. A description of the data acquisition system and the treatment of collected data is given.
