Description :
Calculations of surface radiative fluxes in the tropical Pacific show that the distributions of solar and thermal infrared radiation follow closely with cloudiness and, to a lesser extent, humidity. Surprisingly, the distribution of infrared radiation bears little resemblance to that of surface temperature. (JPB).
