Description :
Preliminary results of petrological analysis. The geomorphologic position, sedimentary and diagenesis features of the sandstone are important for the demonstration of the existence of a 50 m paleocoastline off the northern shelf of the South China. It shows that this area has slightly undergone stronga uplift than others. It is a guide mark in further search for submarine placer deposits in this district.
