Description :
To determine what kind of stands may be used of grassland and to what extent an assessment was made of the substrate and hydromorphic conditions, slope incline, stone content as well as of specific features of location in each district. The relations existing between certain local factors and the use of areas as grassland are dealt with for the GDR as a whole as well as for some of its regions. (HL).
