Description :
The Slovakian river Vah springing at 2494 m a. s. l. offers on its almost 400 km length relatively good conditions for forming falls. Now is the rivertied up by a system of reservoirs, lateral canals and dams and its water-energy is utilized by many power plants. Evaluation of the cascade is outlined. (MS).
