Description :
The natural conditions in the South-Central economic region of Bulgaria require that fodder crop areas are irrigated. The correlation and regression analysis show that the interdependence between the share of irrigated lands and the corn-grain production is feeble. Proceeding from a combination of the methods of B. Berry and dendrite classification (Wroclaw technique) a taxonomy of the agro-industrial complexes was worked out proving that corn in parts of Haskovo and Kârdzali districts should be replaced by other crops.
