Description :
Intensity of sand transfer, change of relief surface, dynamics of bedding depth and rate of ground water mineralization and some aspects of development of Haloxylon aphyllum-Carex physodes communities of Eastern Karakum are studied. The paper points that under stability of relief surface the gradual decrease of the ground water level and increase of its mineralization rate is observed, which results the degradation of Haloxylon aphyllum communities in the large-ridge landscape (1975-1980).
