Description :
A preliminary study of the millennial tendencies of an emerging coast has permitted to isolate other than the isostatic rebound, the major impact of glaciofluvial sedimentation between 9500 and 5200 years BP and fluvial sedimentation between 5200 years BP on the evolution of the shoreline and on various coastal environments. There is a clear correlation with global climatic variations but there is no evidence of variations in the wind direction and longshore drift as determined by geomorphological analysis.
