Trends in California viticulture
Auteur :PETERS, G. L.
Description :
Since 1970 changes in the geography of California viticulture have been marked by increased acreage in vineyards and by plantings in areas that had not previously been commercial wine producers. Cool coastal valleys have been the preferred prime sites for new wineries. Matching individual grape varieties with the most productive microclimates and soil associations is emphasized in selection of sites for new or expanded plantings.
