Auteurs :

Description :
Concern for preservation of historic buildings in New Zealand has its origin in the Land Acts of 1877 and 1885. More recent legislation gives a role to the Historic Places Trust and to local bodies. Case studies show the various ways in which they work, the various degrees of success achieved, and the shortcomings of the legal, financial and social framework of their operation. (Ed.).
