Transnational environmental problems in a geographical framework

Auteur :
BOUWER, K.

Description :
The problems of international environmental pollution and degradation have a special geographical importance. On the one hand there is the increasing dispersion of pollution (and hence of its effects on ecosystems and people) across national boundaries| on the other hand those boundaries limit the possibilities of taking effective action against the pollution: those are the two most important aspects of the international environmental problem.
