Description :
For the largest nature conservation area in the GDR three maps were worked out based on findings from results of forest management and using biotope mapping as well as results form grassland studies. They show the relief shape of the area and the small or large-scale change of various topographical features and types of wood structures, the latter subdivided according to three age groups. The cartographic survey and the quantitative data on the complexity emphasize the big ecological variety of the reserve. (HL).
