Coded data on relief, climate and soil properties are processed by computer in order to delimit optimal sites for the cultivation of major field crops. With the help of LANDSAT-3 space images and farm maps of cultivation pattern a 13-class computer map of land use (attached to the article) was produced. (DLO).
