The concept of eustasy: a redefinition

Auteur :
MORNER, N. A.

Description :
Eustasy can no longer be defined as world wide simultaneous changes in sea level, but must be redefined as ocean level changes or any absolute sea level changes regardless of causation and including both the vertical and horizontal changes of the geoid surface as well as changes of the dynamic sea surface topography. In the field, only relative sea level changes can be observed (Author).
