Late Pleistocene transgressive deposits from 33 S. L. to 40 S. L., Republic of Argentina

Description :
Two transgressive episodes of late Pleistocene age corresponding to a sea level slightly higher than at present are correlated with the last Interglacial and to a mid-Wisconsinan periods. The latter correlation is based on radiocarbon dates ranging between 38,500 3000 and 25,700 560 yr BP.
