Physical geographic conditions of the natron lakes of the Kiskunsag National Park

Natron lakes cover an about 10 km area in the western part of the structural valley of the Danube on the Danube-Tisza Interfluve. Blow-out depressions form their floors. Their isolation is a consequence of human intervention into landscape. The chemical properties of the lakes are in close correlation with climatic features (evaporation). (DLO).
