The total salt and moisture content of some charateristic soil types of the loess plain of Szolnok

Description :
In the strongly alkali profiles (solonchak-like type), annual soil moisture content only varied in the upper 50 cm layer. In the mildly alkali meadow and field soils variation reached down to 120 cm. This is explained by differences in water conductivity. (DLO).
