Description :
Average groundwater depth in the clayey sediments of the area is 2 to 3 m, but large deviations occur. Changes in groundwater table are similar to those observed in the Great Plain. The range depends on precipitation, lithology, water retention capacity of soils and vegetation showing alterations during the growing season. The influence of rivers is also studied. (DLO).
