Halloysit elofordulas Kovagoors K-i hataraban. (Occurrence of halloysite on the Eastern boundary of Kovagoors, Hungary)

Description :
Associated with the Upper Pannonian volcanism of the Balaton Uplands, halloysite occurs in ash-cones, exposed due to strong local volcano-tectonic movements. Several hypotheses are suggested for its origin and it is now considered a less advanced stage of lateritic weathering. Further occurrences are expected. (DLO).
