A tentative exploration on regional analysis in human geography.

The objective of the regional analytical approach in human geography is to explore the law and to reveal the mechanism of regional development, to enhance the predictive function of geographical research and to promote integration of the branches of geography. An example is given of input-output analysis for determining the reasonable structure of regional economic complex. The results indicate that the spatial structure of the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan region should be re-arranged. (TNC).
