The statistical analysis of the time and space related structure of the dust-deposit field within the region affected by major power plants reveals that the immission rate can hardly be assigned to these sources-quantitatively. However, with a view to determination of the rate of dust deposits, in spite of methodological drawbacks, permitting measurements and trend observations to be made, the author submits proposals for the rationalisation and organisation of appropriate measuring networks in the region affected by major power plants.
