Agglomeration is a typical product of socio-economic development. In the agglomeration of Pécs the number of rural population has stabilized and settlements have been differentiated functionally. The escorting features of agglomeration/loss of agricultural land, growing demand for water, increased air and water pollution etc./are studied. (DLO).
