Four stages in the Pleistocene development of drainage pattern are identified. By their intensity (and frequency) in space and over time three types of recent geomorphic processes are differentiated. Surfaces of neutral geomorphic evolution, deluvial accumulation, deflation processes and fluvial accumulation have been mapped. (DLO).
