Regularities in cave development in Wangchuan, North Qinling mountains.

Auteur :
HUANG, Chun-chang

Description :
In this region, NE and NW trending shearing fractures combined with E-W running faults form a tectonic system which is still active. It controls the level, extent, and direction of the karstic caves. Level caves at three different elevations reflect the intermittent rise of the crust giving rise to stages of karstification. They are comparable with the three level erosion surfaces in the Qingling mountains. (TNC).
