The economic relations of Zimbabwe are characterized by the one-sided economic dependence on the state-monopoly reproduction process of the Republic South Africa. This dependence is mainly in communications, the energy network, foreign trade and the manpower sector. In the frame of its economic relations with imperialist countries Zimbabwe is trying to assert the national interests against the new-colonial ambitions. (HL).
