Die Ernährungsfrage und das Wachstum der Weltbevolkerung. (The food problem and the growth of the world population)

Auteur :
KHALATBARI, P.

Description :
The present food problem, by which the developing countries are especially affected, is a social problem. It is primarily neither the result of a rapid world population growth, nor can it be explained by a shortage of food in the world. It is the outcome of the uneven distribution, which is a characteristic of a capitalist system. While the population in the less developed countries is growing rapidly in the course of the demographic transition, their agriculture is partially oriented towards satisfying the needs of the more developed countries by the mechanism of capital.
