Phases of blown-sand movements in the north-east part of the Great Hungarian Plain

Description :
A complex investigation of the evolutional history of the blown-sand area is undertaken by stratigraphic, pedologic, palynologic methods, radiocarbon dating and recent geomorphological observations. The fossil soils found indicate blown-sand movement in the Late Glacial period. No movements are shown for the Holocene.
