Description :
Man has influenced the structure of Drosophila communities not only through a modification of the landscape, of the habitats and of the available resources, but also by the unintentional introduction of many species in places where they did not naturally occurred. Human activities often correspond to involuntary experiments which allow a better understanding of the biology of natural populations by confronting the same species to different ecological conditions.
