Description :
A survey and chronological, geomorphological, paleoclimatological and paleohydrological examinations of travertines in Hungary supplied data for their typification. The hydrogeology of springs, their temperature and chemical compositions, the geomorphological conditions of travertine formation and the forms of precipitation are detailed. Types of springs are shown in charts from hydrogeological and physico-chemical approach. (DLO).
