National and international cooperation at Kevo subarctic research station, Finnish Lapland in Polar research.

Because the facilities for research work in many scientific fields are good in the circumpolar north, every effort to widen cooperation between research institutes should be supported. In this article we try to explain the need for such international research, using the Kevo subarctic research station of the university of Turku as an example. (Ed).
