Description :
The A. summarizes new sedimentological, petrological and mineralogical evidences for dependence of structural and textural changes in carbonate rocks on various types of diagenetic environments. The results are compared with the conclusions concerning the highly recristallized superficial zones as well as the loose or recemented residual mantles occuring on the carbonate rocks in the Cuban Archipelago. (MS).
