Description :
Summertime daily low-level circulation patterns are investigated (1971-80). Two circulation types are recognised at 850 mb, and ten-day frequency of these types are examined. It discusses the relation among low-level circulation pattern and the 500 mb level anticyclonic location and the activity of the Indian monsoon. The location of the ITCZ and the schematic flow pattern over Eastern Asia are shown. (L'A.).
