World food trade and US agriculture. 1960-1980.

World grain production rose faster than population in the 1960's and 1970's. Much of the expansion in feed grain trade has been supplied by US exports which now account for 69 % of the world total. US corn exports increased by 371 % in the last decade along with a doubling of US soybean and soybean meal exports. (INRA).
